Hello! I'm Helen.
I specialize in dimensional colouring, grey coverage, grey blending (or growing it out) and help with curly hair!
I will happily style and colour hair all day as long as it isn't my own so I understand that many of you don't want to be spending hours every week on your hair routine but you want to feel good and look good.

This is why I am passionate about giving you the tips and products you need to simplify your styling process while keeping your hair healthy and yourself feeling fresh and beautiful.

I stumbled into being a hairstylist...
I came into this career a little later than most. After graduating university, I had no idea what I actually wanted to do. I eventually took the leap into hairdressing and 17 years later I couldn't be more grateful for this career.

I know that salons can be intimidating for many people and I've always wanted to provide a calm, peaceful place for you to relax and feel pampered in. Whether you want to enjoy some quiet time to yourself, get some work done, or have a chat, my goal is to have everyone that sits in my chair feel comfortable and listened to and to leave with a little extra bounce in their step.

I often joke about how hopeless I am with clothing trends --I seriously need a personal shopper! But I will blow the budget on education keeping up with hair trends. I crave learning and am always working on bettering my business.

It is truly a privilege to share in some of the most important days of people's lives, the good and the bad, just by being their hairdresser. My chair is a safe place to laugh, cry, talk, vent, sit quietly, read, scroll... whatever you need. Come and be yourself.

I've never met an organizational project I didn't love.

I'll choose savoury over sweets every time but pineapple is my favourite pizza topping- don't yell at me!

I've always been a bit of an "old lady" and now that I'm entering middle-age I finally feel I'm where I'm meant to be.

Every so often I decide I want to be crafty and start a new project or hobby but I haven't found one that has stuck yet. I'm currenly taking up crocheting!

I overuse the word cute and I will probably call you "dear" at some point.

If none of that scares you away, I can't wait to see you!
